And when was the last time you uploaded?
Every 3 - 5 months. Last upload was 3 weeks ago.

Gosh! I'm really shocked that immi sent you an s56 request for more evidence when you'd been voluntarily sending them evidence so regularly for the last 17 months! And as recently as 3 weeks ago!

It is worrying and ridiculous at the same time...

Would any senior members be able to comment on this?
I wonder if anyone else on the forum has experienced this?

I bet they didn't even bother to look at the uploaded documents. Just sent the request to supply everything again. Yeah pretty frustrating after such a long wait..

I feel like there are some people that just use that form automatically when they get the application. They won’t be working on 1 at a time and I think some probably look at what they’ve got coming up in the next month or two and send that to everyone on that list so that when they do eventually get to it it’s all there. Which works for 820 where people have things they’ll probably wait to get like health checks, but not so much 801 where you can just upload everything from the start.
Only explanation I’ve got, and during our 820 we got that same request for everything again when all they wanted was health and police checks.
But yea I remember it’s nerve wracking like ‘what? What have I missed what else do you want? Am I doing this wrong?’
But I’d just double check the post and make sure everything’s there then just click the button saying you uploaded it all, possibly no need to even upload anything at all.

Only thing new in the request I have noticed is Sponsor Declaration form. I would recommend everyone to submit it just in case.
A statutory declaration from your sponsor declaring the current status of your
relationship.

Did you submit the Sponsor Declaration form (statutory declaration) with your original 801 application 17 months ago?

That is actually a vital part of the 801.

It might explain your delay.

The 801 step by step states:

Get these documents from your partner or spouse:

The Sponsor Statutory Declaration form does not give enough space in the boxes for us to fill in all the necessary details.

Can we add continuing pages at the back of the form?
