yes, after 2 complaints they asked me to keep the contacts to minimum and then my grant arrived, but as I have previously explained, after 19 months waiting and the stress I had because of my agent I felt all right to complaint.
Moreover I am going out for a business trip so I have been a bit pushy also because of that.

Some fast 801's just now.

In the first three weeks of November I saw nine 801 grants taking between 7.8 months and 19.2 months.

But on the 23rd November we see two 801 grants taking just 2.8 and 3.8 months.

I got my 820/801 on the same day, just minutes after.

Applied for 820 via agent Aug 2017
Request for medicals, police clearances January 2018
Submitted everything completely March 2018

Then never heard from them until July 2019, asked to resubmit additional documents again (medicals etc) as they are only valid for 1 year, and was requested for a phone interview for August 2019. Expressed my disappointment regarding the long wait with the CO who did the phone interview, but moreso with the financial impact of retaking medical exams again (It's not cheap at all ) CO instructed me to email her ASAP my AFP clearance as soon as I get it on my mail. Emailed it to her by end of August.

September 4 2019, both 820 and 801 granted.

For reference: applied onshore, high risk passport (Philippines)

Hi everybody,

I know this question has probably been asked a million times before, but do I need to inform DPI about a 4 week travel over Christmas? I applied for my 801 visa in July 2019 and we are going to Europe for 4 weeks and now I am wondering, whether I should notify them? If yes, which form do you use?

Many thanks!
