Wife from Philippines.

Good luck to all of you and thanks for all the advice.
Congrats. Your 801 took just a few days more than ours, also from Philippines.

We have a very similar timeline, I'm still waiting too, but see others who applied in 2017 have already received their 801 <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/eek.gif" border="0" alt="" title="EEK!" class="inlineimg" /> Its just a waiting game. <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
True. Have you contact by CO already ? Any request additional supported documents ?

801 Processing times can vary a lot.

When was your 820 granted?
And what is your nationality?

I have seen between 20 and 71 days between an RFI submission for an 801, and the 801 grant, in the last couple of months.

For the 820 I have seen between 5 days and 200 days.

We didn't get an RFI for the 801, just direct to the grant.
For our 300 PMV it was 160 days between RFI and grant.
For our 820 Visa it was 14 days between RFI and grant.

What was the addition document they requested?
I assume you did the 801 application, with the sponsor declaration around the eligibility date, Sept 2018.

wow! that is great news! my partner and I have been married since 2013 (in Australia) and in a relationship since 2009 and I am from a low risk country too - but it's been 16-months and I am still waiting...I think the fact that we have been living overseas in other countries has prolonged our process though haha

Congratulations though! hopefully it will also be a short and easy wait for your 801

I'm head over heels!! I got my grant on Monday morning.
I'm currently overseas, I wasn't expecting this surprise in my email. Here's my timeline

820 TR
Applied June 2016
Granted Feb 2018

801 PR
Applied June 2018
Granted Dec 2019

High risk country with 1 baby. I sent final updated documents on November 2019. Othe than that I had been updating 801 every 3 months. No other contact by CO, not even my partner.
Omg it's been hectic but finaay I can now relax.
