This is the exact message i sent. Hope it works for you
I am writing regarding the progression of my application. I am heavily reliant on the outcome of this application for my future. To begin with I would like to complete my masters degree which will enable me to successfully continue to contribute to the Australian workforce and for further personal knowledge. Secondly the successful outcome would also support my continued employment in Australia.
I am writing regarding the progression of my application. The progression of this application is putting a hold on many aspects of my life. These include the ability to enrol in masters degree , ensure job stability I am requesting correspondence so that I can move forward ,
thank you

Hi all,
I have just joint this forum so I apologize if this question has already been asked before.
My question is what happens if the relationship ends after you got your 801 visa granted? I had a chat with a lady from the DHA and she said that you still have to let them know if your relationship ends even after the 801 grant, but it wasn't too clear whether this will affect the permanent visa or not.
Thank you.

Once the 801 is granted, you are PR in your OWN right. A divorce cannot affect that status, unless fraudulent marriage is confirmed..

I assumed that Immigration are no longer interested in any marital changes.

There must be thousands of people in that situation, who don't notify Immigration of anything after they get PR.

The people at the help lines at DHA, and many other government departments, do not always know what they are talking about.
