Nice work mate. I was trying to understand your scenario? Was you only in a defecto for 8 months before applying for the 820 and 801 visa?

As there are thag much paper work and probably around 10 of them in the office in Sydney then we’re gonna be waiting for years. Think my 820 my case officer was from Indonesia.
It's not just done in Sydney, my Thai wife's 100 was done in London lol.

Yeah I know mine was done in Indonesia for my 820. My fiancées work puts a lot of paper work stuff to Philippines. I’d imagine more work gets spread around since there are a lot of defecto visas been submitted

Just two and yeah you can use the same people I used to my fiancée brother and sister. They have a check list somewhere that has all the information. I think it’s on the immi page. Someone should beable to post the link.

A few 801 Grants, on the forum, with eligibility dates in March 2019
Granted: 02/11/19 after 7.8 months
Granted: 06/12/19 after 8.7 months
Granted: 11/12/19 after 8.9 months

None of those with eligibility dates in April 2019 (four that I have seen) are shown as granted yet.

The average processing time for the 26,095 subclass 801 visas finalised in the 2018/19 year was 438 calendar days (14.4 months). With 75% being done in under 593 days (19.5 months).

So about 9 months is pretty quick.

In November 2019, 75% of the 801's took under 16 months. It seems this year 2019/20 is getting faster.

Hi,

I am an April 2019 eligible for 801. I got my approval today!

Congrats.. That's another grant in that time frame, at 9.2 months.

What country where you from?
