Good Day Everyone. We have just started gathering documents to apply for our 801 partner Visa and i was hoping someone could guide us. It seems like most of the documents that are required for the 801 visa are similar to the ones we were requested for when we applied for the 820.

In this case can we submit the same documents which we used for the 820 partner visa or they have to be updated ?.

Some documents such as Stat Declaration, Form 888 and statements that we provided about our relationship. Should they be updated ?.. Please advise thanks

Most things will need updating to reflect the time AFTER the 820.

New Stat Dec, new 888's and other statements, covering the period from 820 to the 801 eligibilty date, or later if you lodge later.

What are your 820 dates?

Hi Guys.. just wondering what date Should show up in the immi account for when the 801 application was submitted? Mine shows the same date I submitted my 820 back in 2017. I also never received an application received email confirmation for my 801 application (did receive one for my 820 back in 2017 though). Just wondering if this is all how it should be? Thanks

Many people seem to use the same people for the 888.

We used one the same and one different.

The application date is the combined 820/801 original application date.

We didn't get any confirmation either, other than what is in the immi account online.

Hi All

A quick query please. I had applied and was granted 820 visa for my partner. I had applied in February 2018 for 820.

As 2 years have almost completed, my understanding is that I am eligible to apply for 801 visa for my partner.

My Query is- Will the department of immi get in touch with me and ask for further documents(like proof of relationship) or will I need to start uploading the documents myself in Feb 2020? I have got mixed responses so far, so not sure what to do.

They may or may not, but you do not have to wait for contact to begin just the 820 grant and 2 years have passed.
