Well at least we know there are a few of us in the same boat and it should not be anything to worry about.

Maybe they had some system changeovers in 2016 and it's screwed up processing of older applications or something.

yes. Hope that is not too far now . We actually is late submitting our 801 application.
Just wondering processing time ( 12-19 months)is based on from eligible date or date of submission ?

Definately from eligibility date.

I have seen a few grants, submitted 10 or 11 months after eligibility, and being granted a few short weeks later. ie: in the 75% under 12 months.

The processing time is calculated from the 801 “Eligibility date”, not the date of 801 submission. The 801 eligibility date is 24 months after you submitted, and paid for, the 820 application.

Hi All,

Just checked my email and there was my GRANT NOTIFICATION!

On Monday, I sent an email to the Home Affairs compliments, complaints and suggestions (link below) then two days later (today Wednesday) I got my approval. In my email I quoted my application number and how long I can been waiting compared to others and asked them to look at my application.

https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-...nd-suggestions

Previous to this I also sent an email to the Partner Processing Centre at the start of Feb, but only got an automated reply.

Can't believe the wait is finally over and I can breathe a huge sigh of relief.

For all those still waiting, GOOD LUCK esp for those in 2016 I feel your pain and for all others too, it won't be long.
