Documentation is complete sobit means it will b forwarded to biometric or what?
Sorry I don't know where you are in the process for your visa. If you have submitted everything then it probably means that they have forwarded it for a decision to be made.

In that case it sounds like they may have forwarded it to the area for a decision to be made - only Australian citizens can make the decision, non-Australian citizens make a recommendation.

My father is an Australian citizen.
So u means it has been forwarded to Australia from Pakistan so that decision can be made? Doesnt they make decision in Islamabad immigration office?
Actually i emailed them several time they were replying that we are actively working on ur family visas. And their last email was that documentation is completed on ur visa and after u provide police clearance it will b forwarded to other consideration.
I was thinking that what does they mean.
I hope so that they call us for an interview or Biometric coz we have been waiting for so long.

Each embassy has an Australian citizen that signs off on the decision, it has probably be sent to this person to do it within the department.

All you can do is wait.

I don't know alot about citizenship but my understanding is that the 2 years is only if you are included in the parents application and the children are under 16 years of age so it won't be applicable for you because your father already has citizenship.

The normal citizenship requirements are 4 years residency in Australia. They are in the middle of trying to change the citizenship so it won't affect you either way since you are granted PR to start with as you will need 4 years in Australia either way.

Also so you are aware, if the new citizenship changes go through you will need to show level 6 IELTS in all 6 categories to be eligible for citizenship as well.

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to post under someone's else question/reply. I still haven't worked out how to create a new one.
In August 2015 ive lodged my 820/801 and in September 2016 I've received my 820.
I'm now waiting for DIBP to request forms and stat dec etc..for my second stage (August 2017).

My question is:
1) Do I have to rewrite ,in our personal Stat declaration, how we met, when we became de facto couple? do i have to re write what i stated in my 820 declaration form?

I haven't heard from DIBP yet but I just want to get some stuff ready.

Thanks,
Alice
