What exactly do you want to contact immi about? Just the status? It doesn’t seem to mean much.. some people’s status is received and others have further assessment straight away but still end up waiting several months. Mine for example went to further assessment straight away and I haven’t heard anything although it’s been eight months and I am from a low risk country. Couple others in the same boat.

Plus if she submitted in September it’s only been five months so you are still well within the processing times so I would assume you will only be told to wait.

Sometimes that status does not seem to change, until the grant. However, have you clicked on the button to say you have uploaded everything, and done the Statutory Declaration by the Sponsor?

I saw an 801 granted, in January 2020, 38 months after the PMV application date (Dec 2016).
You applied for the PMV one month after them. You may actually be close.. Although you are only at just over 4 months waiting so far, from eligibility. Some recent averages have been about 7 months.

When was your 820 finalised?

Hi JandE,

Thanks for your reply.

Where is this button we press to say we have uploaded everything? I am the sponsor and I have uploaded the Statutory Declaration under my name in the same application. Unless we have already clicked the button?

The 820 was granted on 14th March 2018.

We are currently uploading recent photos and trips we made after the 801 submission.

Thanks

Hi JandE,

We weren't able to find that button in the Immiaccount. Either we already clicked on it or they have changed the format?

Thanks for your help.

Probably changed the format.

I can't recall what it looked like for us. We last did one in Dec 2018.

I heard that a month before you’re eligible to apply for PR you’ll receive an automated email from the immigration but I haven’t received anything yet.

Not everyone has got that email reminder. We didn't. But as long as you remember the date, just begin the application.
