Hi guys! Sorry if this question isn’t relevant to 801. My anxiety is killing me so I hope someone can answer my question.

I’m still awaiting 820 and sponsor have jus gotten a request for AFP check. The letter says to give a response in writing and contact details is “below”

End of each page of the letter has the contact email address of [email protected] , but it is different from which the email is sent from.

So I’ve basically replied to [email protected] and cc [email protected]

Didn’t get any reply at all so I don’t even know I’m responding to the right place ..

Care to share which address u guys responded to and if u all got any reply?

Cheers

Hi everyone, just got good news this morning my 801 Visa has been approved. A quick timeline:
Eligible date to lodge 801: June 2019 however we didn't upload everything completely until a few months later but we weren't too worried as we knew it would take a while before it even gets looked at.
After seeing a few people post that they had their visa granted shortly after sending a complaint/enquiry I decided to do the same on Friday and low and behold this morning we received the good news! So anyone else who is waiting patiently you might as well give that a shot!

So I guess the next question is when can I apply for Citizenship? I arrived on a PMV in October 2016.

Probably the 2nd March 2021, after you have had PR for 1 year, assuming everything stays the same.

Should we contact Immi to see what's the go?

Thanks in advance!
Mine always only showed Received, until it was approved. I waited a year and sent in an enquiry form asking if I needed to redo my AFP as it was only valid a year. Never got a response. Then about a month later, I got approved!

801 visa grant

Hi guys, just sharing that I also received my 801 grant this morning, 4 business days after I've submitted an enquiry online, approx. 8.5 months after applying.

Applied 820: July 2017
Granted: Aug 2018
Applied 801: June 2019
Granted: 2 March 2020

I had an agent for the 820, but no agent for the 801, high risk country.

Thanks for all your help through out my journey, receiving the IMMI grant notice was an unforgettable feeling, hope you all get to experience it soon xx
