Cool

Hi all,

I just want to confirm something. I applied for 820 March 26 2018. Can I apply for 801 now, or I need to wait until after March 26? Also, it asks for 2 more witness statements. Can we use the same witnesses as we used in round one or we need 2 new witnesses?

We used an agent for 820 but are now doing 801 on our own.

Great to hear so many encouraging stories!!

Thanks!

I've received my 801 PR yesterday.
820 applied June 2017
820 granted May 2019
801 applied July 2019
801 granted March 5th 2020
Used agent. Just asked in May 2019 for new medical and witness, clearance, then nothing. yay happy

Yes you can apply now...in theory its one month before the eligible date. You can use the same 2 witnesses as before

You can apply now, it just won't get looked at until 26/3/20 at the earliest. We applied almost 3 months after eligibility date, and got the grant 6 months later, but still 9 months after eligibility.

You can use the same two people for the 888's or two different. We used one the same and one different.

When was your 820 granted?

Hi there everyone
My wife and I have just received an email that we can now apply for the permanent residency visa (801).
Was just wondering what docs you need for this application. ?
Should we just add onto the old documents that we lodged with the 820 application to fill the space in between what has happened since then until now ?
New 888 forms etc ???
Thanks a lot in advance
Forever grateful to the people in this forum that have helped us through the whole confusing process... 🙏

New 888's, from either new people or the same as before, or a combination.

Updated declarations and statements of the continuation of the relationship. Any new proofs of relationship, joint travel and joint address etc., can also be added.

Don't forget the sponsor declaration too.

When was your 820 granted?
