Form S57
I applied 820/801 in June 2017
Got 820 in March 2019
Now I just received form S57 saying I’m using my wife financially and taking advantage of her..
I earn a lot more than my wife.. we share same account... my wife was even out of job because of injury and got no compo.. please has anyone gone through this successfully. We genuinely love each other.
Any advice will be seriously appreciated
Thanks

Applicants Nationality and a bit more info might help.

It seems odd that the 820 was granted, but they now have an issue on the 801. They must have a reason for this. Could anyone have said anything to them to indicate this?

Have you notified them that she had the injury, was out of work and got no compo.. And you own income etc?

Hi guys,

I am lovin this forum. Have been my guiding light all along the arduous visa process.I just have a question with regards to my wife's 801 application. I am a PR holder and her sponsor.

Details are as follows :

820/801 application submitted : 20 June 2018
S56 Request : 8 July 2019
820/801 Processing : 20 July 2019
820 granted : 24 July 2019

Should we wait for a correspondence from DOHA (due by 20 June 2020) before we apply for the 801 or start applying a month from the due date (20 May 2020)? should we just do nothing until we receive a confirmation from DOHA?

your advice is much appreciated

You should begin to submit everything required at some stage after 20 May 2020.

We submitted almost 3 months after eligibility.
801 Application Eligibility Date: 14/5/18
801 Submitted: 4/8/18
801 Granted: 20 Feb 2019
Ours took 9.4 Months processing time from eligibility date

Some people submit exactly one month early, some have submitted almost a year after eligible and received a reminder to finalise the submission. They then received the grant within a few weeks.

At the moment I would suggest applying ASAP, as the 801 might get granted very fast. There is one, a few posts below, that had the 801 grant issued on the actual eligibility date..

If you can get it all ready in 8 days, then submit everything on the 20th May..

So you submitted your application before 11/5 ?
If so what do you answer this question :—Has it been a total of 24 months since the date the applicant lodged their temporary partner visa application?Yes or no

Congrats! Did you wait for the invitation from DOHA before applying for 801? Or you applied it once it hits the 24 months period?

Mind sharing what documents you prepared for 801?

I just got my 820 recently. Let's say I compiled my 820 documents dated up to October 2019. Do I need to provide similar documents from November 2019 up to when I lodge my 801 application?

Thanks
