Thanks for your advise. Hope the complaint form wouldn’t affect our application.
I did lodge the enquiry this morning as well. I mentioned them all about our challenges during this pandemic and hope they will finalise my application soon.

Also, I didn’t notice about the application’s status. What I can see now is “Further Assessment” - not sure if it has been always like that.

03/20218: Logded 820
02/2019: Requested for additional documents: Police checks for both me and my partner.
05/2019: 820 granted
04/2020: Applied 820 - my status is “Further Assessment”
Still waiting...

I know it’s still under the processing time “7-17 months”. But we are a bit frustrated because our Home Loan was declined due to my visa status 😣.

I’ve lodged a complaint from yesterday and got replied this morning saying that Global Feedback Unit couldn’t help in this matter.

I tried to send a Processing Centres Enquiry Form and got an auto emai. Is there anyone applied at the same time as us? Should there be any hope for us to get PR soon as I saw many people got their visa granted after sending the enquire.
I applied 801 in 03/20 and my agent sent an enquiry on 7/8/20 as I requested him to do so.
Haven’t heard back yet.

If you have an 820 I don't see why your home loan application should be rejected. Other than that hopefully your case is considered but frankly waiting for 4 months is not an exceptionally long time.

I was thinking the same. The banks in the Westpac group say: 309 and 820 partner visas will be accepted in loan applications with a maximum loan-to-value ratio of 90%. As a joint borrower with Citizen or PR.

I feel that other banks might be similar.

Yeah that was what I thought. But the bank rejected our application last month and advise that we can only do 80% because of my visa status. Hopefully my visa will be granted soon

What is your visa status now? Has it been changed since you had applied?

Hi everyone,
Long time lurker. First time poster.

28/12/2017 - Applied for 820
04/07/2019 - 820 granted
28/12/2019 - Applied for 801
14/08/2020 - Still waiting

I'm from Vietnam, been in Australia for 13 years.
Married since 17/12/2017.
Bought an apartment together in 22/12/2019.
I applied through an immigration lawyer, and constantly provided bills and photos.
Since I saw people applying after mine and got theirs. I'm sitting here panicking wondering if there's anything wrong with mine.
