That is just disgusting and if they pass the citizenship bill, it can take up to at least 8 years to get your citizenship from 820

And you would think that now they have halted all the citizenship application they would have more people to work on other visa application instead, but nope they are still increasing the timeframe.

so currently the 100 visa can take up to 37 months !!! and 801 visa up to 22 months !! so if your visa application took 2 years you can't even complain because it still within the standards.
this is not just insane it's ridiculous.
I cannot believe my eyes . 37 months to get PR.
Why is subclass 100 taking longer to process than subclass 801.

Seriously This is disgusting.

My husband has already waited 14 months . So we still have to add an extra 23 months from when the new processing time was updated .
Or we have to start counting 37 months from when the new processing time was updated .

I am lost and don't know where to count from.

All I can think of it has something to do with the centre it is processed in, that is the only thing that I can think of that can explain it.

A girl I work with her partner is having issues with DIBP in Brisbane in regards to another visa and trying to get contact from them etc.

This line from that document is interesting... "The traditional mail-out letter at the 2-year point of eligibility will be discontinued."
