Hey guys, what are your feelings on providing more than the requested 2 x Form 888 for the second stage? I had provided 8 for the 820 application as they mention "at least 2" but only 2 for the 801 as it seems like they were more clear on needing just the two. I'm still waiting on the 801 grant or any contact after nearly 12 months so I'm thinking perhaps I need to provide more before they get back to me?

Any thoughts?

My timeline:
Applied 820/201: Nov 2017
820 Granted: Mar 2019
801 Applied: Nov 2019
801 Granted: Still Waiting

Hi,
Have a go at the residence calculator :

https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help...nce-calculator

Enter all your dates in and out of Australia and the date you got your 801 and it'll give you your elegibility day.

(I will stick around to continue helping out other people) - Noting that we've never used a migration agent in any of our visa applications.

Congratulations to you.

I also want to thank the forumers for sharing their input and knowledge reagarding 802/801

Last October 31, 2020 I received my grant notice after lodgement on Nov 9, 2018.
Finally Stage 1 is finish.

Now to Stage 2-801, I started collating evidences and requirements needed.
I just have a quick question because some say they received an email regarding 801 being open and ready for uploading. I didn’t get that email. In Home Affairs it says can upload additional evidence at least 1 month prior hitting 2 years of lodgement. Is the email applicable to everyone ? Did everyone get that email? Cos I didn’t.
Also, with the 801 documents/evidence, should it be uploaded on 820 folders? Or should it be a new application ?

Thank you in advance . Cheers!

May I get an opinion on this please. Thank you.

Hey mate congratulations on your journey! I’d like to ask you this Saturday my wife will be eligible to apply for 801 as it’s gonna be the 23rd month, would it be fine if our witnesses for the form 888 will date it as this week?

Not everyone gets the email it seems. However, you don't need the email to be able to apply
You are eligible to apply for the 801 now.
You need to start a new application Stage 2

Thank you! Yes, the dates for our form 888s were a few days before our 801 submission date.
