Hi Friends. I'm just puttering at my 801 documents, and was wondering what others had done in regards to uploading their wills, is it worth scanning the whole thing, or is the first page (where it says I leave everything to my husband and vice versa) the most important bit?

Thanks!

also, I am aware that we have to write a brief statement again in regards to the same things that we wrote previously. However, how do we write the statement differently even though we are still the same in household arrangements, financially and social ?

We were together for 3 years when we apply for 820 and now 2 years later we are still the same couple doing the same thing. Any advice?
I think you can only submit the application 1 month before the 2 years date. They should send an email when you are eligible to apply although some said they didn't receive email.

In my opinion, the statement is an update of the relationship and show that it is the one that's continuing.

For people who use the same witness for form 888 as part 1, does your witness write the same thing and then add on extra stuff? or they have to write everything differently?

They can write similar content, but should add that they are still confirming that they believe the relationship to be genuine, etc.

Hi Laura, thanks for your reply. My family has return some parts with the exact paragraph from their previous form, but added a new paragraph after.
Would that be ok?

Are they meant to be saying "from the previous 888 form" ?

Would that be ok? Yes, this structure is fine.

Are they meant to be saying "from the previous 888 form" ?
Not necessarily
