It couldn't do harm to put in a complaint, however you're still within the updated estimated waiting time so expect a automated response.

Just explain how the waiting period is effecting you and your partners lives etc.

Hello All

I have been following this forum from quite a long time now and thought to share this News with you all.

Finally after wait of 14 month my 801 Grant notification came in this afternoon and am so HAPPY and much relieved to hear this news. I have made stupid mistake to follow path of getting PR through Partner visa where I could have applied and nailed it by going through states sponsorship 4 years back and would have been an Australian citizen by now. But nevertheless I am happy with what i have on my plate now.

So here is my time line:
820 Application Submission: 16-Jun-14
820 Grant: 16-SEP-15
801 Application Submission: 16-Jun-16
801 Grant: 17-08-17

I contacted immi 3 times to inquire about 801 visa (1st after 11 months, 2nd 13 months and last 2 days ago) and always received their auto-generated email. Last inquiry I made was through web form as mentioned by another user on this forum few pages back. In all this journey, I have never been contacted by immi to provide any info.

Good Luck to all of you.

Hyperion and AdelaideHana like this.

Then keep your toes and fingers crossed. G'luck mate.
I submitted my 820/801 visa application on 16/06/16, so when it's close to 16/06/2018, I can just ho ahead to submit furgther documents to apply for 801?

I was thinking the eligible date letter would send to me after my 820 visa granted
