Hi All,

I complained on Thursday night, received an acknowledgement of the complaint today and my visa grant a couple of hours later.

Here is my timeline:

820 Application Submission: 10-AUG-14
820 Grant: 10-AUG-15
801 Application Submission: 16-AUG-16
801 Grant: 17-08-17

Any thoughts?

Sorry I didn't explain myself clearly. 75% of applications for the 801 will be processed within 18 months. 90% of applications will be processed within 22 months.

Unfortunately you have waited a long time but you're still within the estimates. So when/if you email them and put in a complaint you will either get a positive result and somebody will look at your case, or you will get an automated email saying that you are still within the estimated processing time.

I would say it's still worth putting in a complaint, people recently have had good luck with getting their case looked into or even, as commented above, they'll make a decision on your visa.

I was thinking the eligible date letter would send to me after my 820 visa granted

So sorry I read it that you applied for your 820 in March!

They used to send emails to tell you that you where coming up to your eligibility date but they've stopped now. So you're correct, two years from your 820 application you can apply for your 801.
Apologies again!

I am preparing my application now for my eligibility date 30/09/2017. I have heard immi isn't sending out emails anymore, hence why I haven't received any as of yet.
