Can company sponsor for PR if haven't been on 457?

Greetings all,

I have been on a provisional spousal visa for two years, and have also been at my company for exactly two years here.

My question is: can my company sponsor me for Permanent Residency Visa if I haven't been on a 457 with them to date (but have worked for them for two full years)?

Thanks and Cheers - Erich

If you're asking because your relationship with your partner has ended (that's the only reason I can see that you'd be asking this question, since temporary partner visas lead to permanent residencies themselves), just be aware that you are legally required to notify DIAC the moment your relationship breaks down.

I hope someone has an answer for you on the company sponsorship front.

Yes, thank you for that. I did take your prior advice and notify them.

Currently, I have (potentially) two options through work: 457 (sure), or PR (hopefully).
