PMV intent to marry date approaching and no answer on process yet

My fiance and I have sumbitted PMV application in March. Lots of questions and request of evidence were asked in the first 3 weeks. Then all communication stopped.
It is now almost July and our intent to marry date is fast approaching (it is set for mid July).
Would it be wise to contact our Case Officer and ask her if I can purchase ticket to go to Australia now as it is almost time for wedding? And ask what is happening with my application? Or should I wait and let him talk to me first?
We have not heard from CO for 3 months now.
Any advice?

Don't panic. Contact your marriage celebrant and change the wedding date, then advise your CO of the change of date.

thanks,
I am aware I can change date, this is not the problem.
I am asking wether or not it is a good idea to contact CO and ask how process is going because wedding date is approaching.

When you advise your CO, I'd say something friendly like "Hi! Since our partner visa is still processing and the date we planned our wedding for is coming up quickly, we just wanted to check and see if there was any chance a decision would be made on our visa before (insert the date here). If not, we'll go ahead and reschedule our wedding for (insert new date here). Thanks so much!"

Has anyone had any similar situations? And what they did?

We had the similar situation we ended up Changing our proposed date of marriage. We Just informed our CO that we changed the date because we felt it would be rushed if the visa came out a month before i.e I had to sort out my job issues and other things so it was just wise for us to change the date. By the way am from a High Risk Country

We had similar situation. What we did is we decide to have a civil wedding in Singapore. We just thought that if their on doubt about our relationship we will show to them that we are genuine and wont give up. And also we considered about PMV that can be capped while 309 is not

That's what we learned doing research while waiting.
