Talking Approved!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my passport back today with my visa!

No email telling me it was approved or being sent back (surprise!) and no phone interview!

I'm anticipating being there by the middle of September (my first entry has to happen by the middle of February).

I think I'm still in a bit of shock!

Thank you!

We're so excited and just so relieved! My spouse has to fly back to Australia on the 7th of July and we were worried that if my visa wasn't approved by then the wait would be especially hard. It's still going to be sad that I won't be able to go to Australia until mid-September but at least we know I'll be on my way!

Looking at the date of my visa and the letter they sent - it was dated the 20th of May. Exactly two months after they received my application!

Jippiieeeee! Congrats!

Pss.. had this awful scare sent my passport off to London, we are leaving Ireland for good next week, and sent it registered express - went in to Irish Posts website yesterday and it said "status return to sender". I almost started to cry. I called them in panic and was told "oh that is just a default message they tried to deliver it on Saturday but there was noone there".
Yeah.. what about the default message being "in progress"?!
