Skilled visa

Hi guys.

Planning on moving over ( hopefully) my partner has a perminent visa and will be moving over soon. I can't go defacto as we havnt been living together

Spoke to telsrta about work as I currently work as a tellecomunications field technician in england ,but they not accept certain visas , working holiday isn't one of them

Think the only option I have is to apply for a skilled migration visa I think ? But how does this work ? Do I have to be assessed ? I'd prefer to get straight into a job I'm going to stick to . Struggling on how I'm going to get some sort of perminent visa
