ACS references and job promotions

Hi all,

I'm about to kick off my visa journey and was wondering about the ACS employment reference requirements.

I've been with my current employer for almost 5 years and have received references from them regarding my employment. There is a tiny matter of my promotion I received a year and a half ago when I got a change in job title. In my case I went from a "Programmer Analyst IV" to "Senior Financial Software engineer".

My current references contain the phrase "while in his current role he performed the following duties". Can anyone tell me if I need a separate list of duties for my former role, despite them being similar?

ACS have a document you can download from their website about how to prepare and present work experience letters. I suggest you read that.

See the specimen reference letter shown on the ACS Website as advised by Jeremy and it clearly shows that no separate details are required for each promotion.

Just make sure that the Roles and responsibilities description in the reference covers the entire 5 years you worked there and not just the last 1.5 years

Cheers
