Senior migration officer

Our application has been placed in a queue with the senior migration officer pending decision. Is this the absolute final stage before granting a visa?

It could also mean there is an issue that the CO does not know which way to decide so its left up to the Senior Migration Officer, who im not 100% sure but I assume he is Australian n not a local working at the embassy...

ah ok 2 weeks ago is a little short to give a result, doesnt mean there is a problem as my application was passed onto a senior many times just to pass over the next step of the process.

Hi Nunu
It is likely it is as Dunan has indicated or it could simply mean that the senior CO is going to work on your case. That in itself is not necessarily a bad thing as some senior CO also take on a caseload, usually the more complex ones though.
You just need to ask yourself was there anything slightly unusual about your application and you will find the answer.
