Sorry I didn't see the signature. He is indeed Licence advisor. Oh then hey Mark I do have question I will apply NSW State Sponsorship by May 2014 as I won't able to start process. Being study currently.

I will get occupation under ICT - developer programmer

I am afraid NSW might stop state sponsorship. How many chances of stopping SS?

While I won't argue that it's important to provide ACS (or any other skills assessment authority) with all the documents they need, being informed about the different processes at ACS (including the RPL process) can be very important. And understanding how RPL can result in fewer years of experience being able to be used for points on a skilled visa is absolutely important. I've seen too many people make huge mistakes in this area, get an invitation to apply for a visa, pay their $3,060, then find out later they can't use all of their work experience for points and fail re: points as a result. Doing research in advance can help avoid painful and costly errors like this.

Best,

Mark Northam

You seems a lot confusing here. Let me tell you that no one will get you exact answer than ACS skill assessor. You must pass through them. You provide all the documents, evidence no matter, how big the pile becomes, in your case you might get 2 skill occupation.

No one here Licence Immigration Adviser, so stop engagging entirely. Go and start submitting documents.

REMEMBER 60 point required for PR. Your wife may or may not get successgull recognised skilled assessed.

IN INDIA NOT ALL THE UNIVERSITY ARE RECOGNISED. THEY MAY REJECT QUALIFICATION. IT IS QUITE OFEN

hi mark. this is hazel. i need your help. my husband is currently a 457 visa temporary skilled, employer sponsored. i just came home here in the philippines from australia because i was on tourist visa. while staying there, my husband's employer gave me an invitation letter stating that they will extend me as a secondary applicant. i tried lodging my papers via immiaccount. but then an error was encountered then i called the immigration they said that i should go off shore by going home back to the philippines because my visa has a condition that states NO FURTHER STAY. Yesterday i tried to lodge my papers but then they have encountered an error again stating YOU MAY BE IN A LOCATION THAT MEANS YOU CANNOT USE THIS SERVICE? PLEASE CONTACT AUsTRALIAN office of this department or australian government office overseas. i called them but they said thAt online application is not applicable in the philippines. they also said that i need to be working with VFS GLOBAL, an australian visa application center to lodge my papers. they also requires me to pay thru managers cheque both the embassy and vfs global.
the immigration officer in australia told me that i could reguster or lodge my papers online but failed to do so.
What should i do? i am very confused. please i need your assistance. thank you so much.

Hi Hazelmarie -

Very unusual that you cannot lodge 457 subsequent entrant application online - normally these are lodged via ImmiAccount online even if the applicant is offshore. I would try this again, as it takes special permission from DIBP to lodge a paper 457 application currently. If for some reason Philippines users are blocked via their physical location, you could have someone in Australia try to lodge it for you, whether that is a migration agent or someone else.

Hope this helps -

Best,

Mark Northam

Hi Mark. Thank you for your quick response. Our Filipino 457friends said they applied online for their spouses. can my husband apply it for me too? I am really scared of dealing with the VFS Global, as they might be scams.

Hi Hazelmarie -

As far as I know, yes. VFS Global is the company that DIBP has outsourced the front-counter operations to in the Philippines - it's a legit company. If you have to lodge a paper application there like a visitor visa, you end up dealing with VFS now (used to be PIATI company). They also take biometrics I assume, etc.

Hope this helps -

Best,

Mark Northam
