Hi Ranjit,

Congrats on your success with the visa. Even I am thinking about applying for one.I would start with the process initiation in a few weeks.

I would like to know, exactly what occupation/profile are you looking for a job in Australia. I am applying for the role of a Software Engineer but I am only worried about the notice period that the Indian Companies ask us to serve....3 months. Would it be a hindrance for me getting a job in AUS? Do Australian companies wait for so long even if I have a valid work visa in hand? Please share your views.

Thanks.

Question

Hi Ranjit,

Congrats on your success with the visa. Even I am going to initiate the process in a few weeks.

What occupation/role are you searching for a job in Australia? I am a Software Engineer with about 5.5 years of work experience. I wanted to know whether Australian companies wait for our Notice period with our Indian organisations to end. Most of the software companies in India have a notice period of about 2 to 3 months.

I know its a subjective question but please share your experiences and views.

Thanks.
