Exclamation PLEASE HELP. Visa Cancellation/Partner visa

I received a notice to cancel my TU573 visa and i still have time to respond/extend. i have a few questions but i have an Australian gf who has agreed to sponsor me

1. we dont meet the 12months requirement because we have been together for just one month. we can register the relationship but it has a processing time of 28days. will an application receipt from deaths and registry suffice instead of the relationship certificate?

2. i understand that my visa will be cancelled but will it affect my 801/802 visa if it was lodged before the cancellation

3. we currently do not live together and have no financial or social proof but it is a genuine relationship and we plan to go all the way, Can further evidence be provided later on in the relationship

4. i have tried to get an RMA to but they are mostly interested in making me commit without really telling me anything. statements like 'there is a way we can do it' doesnt really do it for me. recommendations are highly welcome

thanks

I mean, if you've only been together a month I don't know that DIBP will consider that enough. Even if you register it, I can't imagine you'd be able to show sufficient evidence in all the necessary categories, especially if you don't have financial or social proof at this point, to be granted an 820/801. Simply registering a relationship is not enough proof.

Your case sounds complex and while we can provide some advice here, a RMA would be the best way to go. There are several who post on the forum regularly.

Only being together for one month? No way you'll meet de facto requirements even if you do register the relationship. You'll be wasting $7k if you bother applying.

And a real RMA would tell you the same, not fabricate evidence.

If you are so rich to waste 7k on partner visa why not apply for student visa and study instead?

Partner visas are for people in established and committed relationships. De facto or married. You refer to her as a gf; you've been together a month. This is not a girlfriend/boyfriend visa. They ask for 12 months (or registration) and evidence to show that commitment. You have neither.

Good luck lol

1. From the responses here you can get a very good idea how applicants from your country are viewed so you need an airtight application to get a favourable response from DIBP.

2. No you do not meet requirements for defacto visa even with relationship registration. You need to live together and combine affairs for atleast 6 months. You have only just started dating.Defacto relationships are akin to marriage.

The evidence is an at time of application requirement. You can supply updated evidence as you go along but DIBP do not need to accept it.

Considering where you are from (very very high risk country in DIBP's eyes) and you have only been together 1 month you will be looking at a rejection. Not to mention a cancelled student visa .... huge red flags here .... just gotten together just as the student visa is getting cancelled.

You would be better going offshore, keeping in contact, your partner coming to visit you and then applying for a PMV.

My problem is the opposite. I get many inquiries from people who want all the answers without wanting to commit themselves or pay a fee. I won't waste time on those sort of inquiries.

From what you have written here, it's not something I would take on, as you have virtually no chance of a positive outcome. Coming off a student visa about to be cancelled only makes matters worse in the eyes of the DIBP.
