Whether Visa Quota over this year?

Dear Wanderor and Mike,
Thank you for your kind suggestions to all in correct time.I have some doubt,Whether this visa quota is over for this financial year? it will start next month july 8 onwards.Some forum message i have seen.But i want to get message from you.I have submitted my docs which my co required,but till now no response from my co.Is it visa over and i have to wait for next month.I expect your valuable suggestions.

Do you have a reference link to the visa quota you talk of? and if you have a CO, best just to see what advice you get next.

it has been noticed that the visa quota is over this year
as from 26 May 2009 no one get any visa

Dear Wanderer,
My agent only told me the visa quato is over in this year you have to wait for July,until next announcement comes.I dont have evidence for this matter.Thank you for your kind reply

I do not know who runs that site Gero nor can see any particular reference to visa quotas and can't see that they would have early inside info.

I'd have much more faith in announcements on the immigration site, the government not having been backward in announcing reviews of immigration with some tightening in various areas that ensure immigration of skills area is targeted at real needs, but no specific numbers as such.

If there was a complete halt to applications being accepted, I'm sure that would be announced.
