partner visa unclear questions need advise for answers plz

I'm about to apply for an onshore defacto partner visa, need your advise to what to answer to some tricky questions. I've been married twice in Mauritius, 1st divorce issued in 2003 & im awaiting for the official documents for the 2nd one at the end of august.
Unclear questions are:
1. About my current relationship, date of relationship began: is it the day we started dating or when we started living together??
2. Have U ever been married: definitely yes but then they asked have U ever been in a defacto relationship other than your sponsor: what should be my answer??
3. Has the visa applicant ever been engaged to be married to a person other than U??
Can U please advise what should I answer to.those questions.
Thanks
Virginie

The answer to this question is from the date you made your relationship official, made it public, the date you started the relationship.

Your answer should be yes because you have stated that you were previously married. They have all these questions it may seem stupid and it may or may not apply to you but everyone has different answers so they ask ALL the important questions

Actually - they're asking if you've ever been in a defacto relationship. In other words, one where you weren't married, but lived together, shared finances, etc. If you have, you'd put yes. If you've only ever been married to people you've lived with and shared finances with, etc. you'd put no, in my opinion.

Unclear questions are:
ok so i will try to explain each question below as i wrote them i didnt have any problems at all. so here we go.
Quote:
1. About my current relationship, date of relationship began: is it the day we started dating or when we started living together??
i wrote down the day we started dating not the day we started living together ( although it was only a couple of weeks after the relationship started)
Quote:
2. Have U ever been married: definitely yes but then they asked have U ever been in a defacto relationship other than your sponsor: what should be my answer??
i wrote NO because after 2 marriages i had never shared accounts or lived with any one else besides my current husband. If you had lived with some one before your partner then you must write yes.
Quote:
3. Has the visa applicant ever been engaged to be married to a person other than U??
this is simple there asking if your partner was ever engaged to be married to another person, if he has then you must write yes if he hasnt write no
Quote:
can U please advise what should I answer to.those questions.
Thanks
Virginie
hope this helps you

NO you wouldnt write yes you dont include your married partners as they know that you have being married because you would have to provide this information, as CC has said you only write down DEFACTO relationships those you lived with but not married to, CC has given the correct information,

Thanks for your answers, it does help. But the 3rd question: does the visa applicant ever been engaged to be married to an other person than U?? This is on the sponsor application form & its abt me, if ive ever been engaged to be married??? I've been married twice as I said, so what should my partner(sponsor) answer to that please.
