hey whitney just want to know that my wife she recived a call last week from immigration department but she missed that and today she called to the case officer and she told to her that she is not longer her case officer anymore and her file has been transfered to new case officer . she also said to her that all the documents has been reviewed and no further documents need till now. Any idea why they transfered the file to new case officer any sugesstions??? thankssss

Files get transferred all the time. Sometimes they go from a regular CO to a CO supervisor because there's some kind of issue... but other times embassies may regularly send cases ready for grant/finalization to a senior CO for handling. It could be something even more boring, too, like her CO simply having too many cases to handle. No telling why.

hmm thanks collegegirl, on 15/08/2013.It will be 3 months so i am hoping they may grant her visa..bt i am still wandering why they called her.And when she asked they dont have any thing in dere system huh....

3 months would be pretty early from a grant, even from Canada. Not impossible of course. Also, they don't USUALLY call when they grant a visa - usually e-mail and/or snail mail.

No way to tell why they called her. She called them back and they didn't know why? Weird. Hopefully they'll call her again if they need something!

hopefully they call her again and explain why they called because my wife wants to visit her country..bt we don't want that they ask some documents from canada while she is away fingers cross thanks alot for your help.....
