Hi all

I sent my application in with some things missing - UK police check etc. I finally received it and sent it in a good month or so ago. Do you know if I would get an acknowledgment of reciept?

Bit worried now !!

Hi Kat-

Some embassies are good at sending an email acknowledging receipt of additional information, others are not. Assuming you sent hardcopy, it's always good to do that with a courier services that requires a signature for delivery, etc so you can provide evidence of that if necessary. If sent by email, many embassies provide an automatic "thanks for your email" sort of thing but do not send out a separate email from the case officer actually acknowledging receipt of your specific item(s). Most people end up waiting until a case officer is assigned, then wait for an email from the case officer requesting any missing items, etc.
