Few Questions for Australian Immigration Visa Option 175

My name is Komail Noori and I am applying for Australian 175 Visa Immigration. In this regard, I have few questions to ask.

1. Either I should apply "Online" through General Skilled Migration or I should send my document through courier.

2. It is mentioned in the instruction that:
The department encourages applicants to apply online. Applications lodged online have quicker processing times.
Is this true? If yes, how much quicker is the process time?

3. In the Form 1276... at point 20... It is asked the value of money or any assets we plan to take with us. What amount would be suitable here?

4. The spelling of my wife name is changed in some of her educational certificates. In some documents it mentioned as "Aisha" and in some "Ayesha". Is there any issue with this?

5. My wife has a teaching experience since Aug. 2002 to Dec. 2004. Can I apply this experience in "Spouse Skill Consideration"?

Please reply, if you can answer any of the above asked queries. Your help would highly be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Komail and have a read of our sticky thread #4 in Visas&Immigration section where I'll move this to.
There's information/FAQ on visa processing priorities, times terribly uncertain in changing times but it is more and more a digital world in which we live.

sticky #6 also has immigration site links.

Given global economic conditions I urge people to have a Plan B in the event that they land in a new country and have no work prospects.

If a person is to immigrate, they would in most cases be selling up assets in their home country to come to Australia, but if not, have a look at the immi info on Living in Australia for it may have something on living costs, $1000/w not likely to give you a lot of change and you'll need funds to support yourself until such time you had employment - all part of that Plan B.

Your wifes name spelling on educational documents should not be a great issue if you are to apply using your qualifications.

You could only expect to get spouse points if in fact she had qualifications that would be approved by the Australian authority - I think you'll find an explanatory link from that heading in the eligibility table.

Immigration is moving to using the online system and I wouldn't be surprised if all applications eventually have to be submitted this way. It should be quicker online, as you don't have to wait for documents to be sent by mail. It reduces the need for papers to be shuffled around the office, so I am sure the application review process has become more efficient.

So, if you have internet access I would definitely submit the application online.

With regards to question 3, just write down exactly how much you plan to bring.

Any reason why your wife's name is spelt differently on documents?
