PMV 300 potential longer processing times

I've just noticed if anyone is unaware, that as a couple of days ago, the 300 visa global processing times have been updated and are possibly longer waits.

75% of applications processed in 14 months.
90% of applications processed in 19 months

Just thought I would share, as it was previously 12 months, and 17 months, respectively.

I'm pretty sure some of the other subclasses (820/801 etc), are now longer too.

Sorry to hear Hannah. I can understand your frustration.

I haven't applied yet - my fiancée and I are just waiting on our 888 stat dec's, and will apply at the start of September. I am the sponsor, so my fiancée is German so will be applying from Berlin.

May I ask where you applied? And when you were asked for medicals/police checks?

Hoping you hear something soon!

Did you apply online and has your agent said anything about it? I can't believe you guys have been waiting for 11 months already. It has only been 2 months for me and I am feeling the anxiety.

We applied through a agent in Sydney and he told us that it would take at least 12 months till they accept him , and yes it's very hard to be away from your partner I'm struggling so much I don't know if I can go any longer without seeing him. But patience is the key to happiness .

18 months and counting....straight-forward case of fiance from Canada (no kids etc) - medicals and police check done early last year....still waiting and NOTHING. No news. No updates. Such horrible service...you pay so much money, in any other industry they'd be shut down, but because it's government, you just have to grin and bear it. So crappy.

Hello, I am in the USA and my Fiance is in Melbourne. We applied for 300 Jan 25th 2017, still no word. I also noticed the wait times were recently extended.

Very frustrating for us... Hoping things move along quicker, but I am mentally preparing for at least 12 months wait or longer.

That doesn't seem right at all. Being from a low risk country and also hearing nothing in 18 months seems concerning and baffling. Sorry to hear you've been waiting so long. I would be distraught. Hope you hear something soon!
