PMV Granted Questions for 820/801

So we got the great news that my parnters Sub 300 PMV has been granted. I know it's great!!! We have booked her ticket for September, and we will meet our original date with the celebrant in November.

Now on to the 820/801.
Do I need her to get new police checks?
Would we need to get all documents translated again prior to her arrival in Aus?
Some of the documents will be hard to get once she arrives in Aus as she needs to apply in person.
Do we need to get all of the evidence we used in our PMV re-certified.
Do I need to re-apply to be a sponsor considering the changes recently requiring sponsors to complete police clearances prior to the applicant applying for the Partner Visa?

Being that she will not arrive until Sept, Celebrant date the beginning of Nov.... I'm guessing we need to wait for the marriage certificate prior to applying for for the Parnter visa??....

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

If you apply online you don't need to wait for the marriage certificate, you can just upload it when you get it.

We didn't need a new police check and an AFP was not required because he had only been in the country a few months.

You just provide the same ID documents with translations that you used for the PMV and you can colour scan them.

Certification doesn't expire, but applying online you can just colour scan the originals. Some people don't use the PMV evidence at all and only use evidence since the grant of the PMV.

You will need to do a new application form for the sponsor but an AFP is only required if DIBP ask for it. DIBP only says that the sponsor may require a police check.

You should have everything you need already except for marriage cert, new Form 888s, and new evidence of the relationship.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Is anybody waiting for 801? How long does it take to be granted? I apply 820 on 30/06/2015 and I already send the second stage for 801.
