The only reason i could think of is that you just copied the text from chat window and pasted in any editor and took the printout, then only the source of text can be doubted. and by having a screenshot, you actually cover what is there on screen at that time, hence you will see a nice skype interface with your username on it, and chat window with your spouse's id on it, giving a little more authentic look to your conversation.

I've never seen anyone say DIAC wouldn't accept their Skype conversation just because it was printed out. Screenshots are obviously the best way to go, but I don't think it's the only way.

I really think they sent it to you because they're already done deciding on your legitimacy as a couple. Can't guarantee it of course - but that's my opinion.
Hello college girl,

You are right about the skype conversation that the embassy sent back to me, i had a phone interview with my case officer today, i asked her why she returned the skype conversation, she said she saw it already, and she said i over kill her with the skype conversation she said too many to read it lol, i told her i thought the reason why she sen it back is because it is not screenshot, she said no, i feel relieve now that my case officer dont ask for anymore proof she just asked me if i included proof in my application that my fiancee and i already meet in person, i told her yes i attached pictures of our holiday in singapore and malaysia. Then she said i need to wait for her decision,

Thank you CG, wish you all the best, god bless you!!

If living with parents, what evidence is needed to prove this? Just the parents to sign a statutory declaration right?

Is there a need to submit the deed of the house? Because it'll be impossible to get this unfortunately.

To you have any correspondence addressed to you at your parent's address? Any bills in your name to their address?
Do your parents own the house or rent it? If they're renting it, could the landlord also write a letter / statement confirming you live there?

We got letters address to my partner with my parents address. My parents own the home themselves. No bills in my partners name. All in mine or my parents names.
