Hello, Im not sure if this thread is still active.
I just wanted to ask a question on the birth certificates..
Well you know we had the old one, hand written. Are most of you guys/girls using the old one, or you have extracted a new printed copy from JPN to submit for on-shores?

Yes, I went to JPN to get the new version of birth certificate (bi-language). Otherwise with the old one you would need to translate it to English.

Weird to hear that it's processed in KL.

For Form 40SP (the sponsor form) did you do the paper form then attached it to your application or was there an electronic version of Form 40SP?

Thanks.
We did everything online. Both applicant and sponsor. Did u do it by papers?
Just noticed this reply!

I did my on immi online account, as for the sponsor form it was paper form then uploaded under my immi account.
I'm not sure could this be the problem, I have waited for 12 months since lodgement on March 2017.

Please I was asked to get police checks from Malaysia. For people who has applied for Malaysia police checks before how long does it take to pick up the police checks after application. Your answer is highly appreciated, thanks you
