Timeline help

I can't seem to get my timeline to work. I followed the instructions, filled in the drop down boxes, saved. Copied the code into my signature and saved it but its still not coming out right. Just comes up as a little icon as you can see below.

Any idea's anyone?

Hi Sophey! I'm going to get the board owners/admins to take a look and see if they can figure it out.

Hi Sophey
It looks like your timeline graphic was not created when you saved everything. Could you please try going back to this page and saving it again. I'm hoping that will create the graphic this time.

If that doesn't work, let me know and i will delete it and you can start again with a new one.
Thanks
Bob

Thanks for trying again. I have now had to delete the original one - could you please try one more time and see if it works.

Regards
Bob

Hey Bob,

Dan here, Sophey's adoring and more technically competent sponsor and partner. :-)

We did it again and it's still broken. We're getting a 404 on the image that's generated.

Specifically this is the URL that is generated:
http://www.australiaforum.com/tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/3/5/2/7/4/1.jpg?q=389628

Which is 404'ing with or without the query string parameter.

Here is an example of a sig image that is working:
http://www.australiaforum.com/tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/2/7/3/0/1/1.jpg

So it's in the same format. If you take of the 1.jpg from the URL that works you get a 404 page that says:
The requested URL /tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/2/7/3/0/1/ was not found on this server.

If you do the same with Sophey's signature you get a default AustraliaForums 404.

The page returned is the same for both URL's when you get to this part in the URL of Soph's sig image:
http://www.australiaforum.com/tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/3/
And diverges when you get to this part:
http://www.australiaforum.com/tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/3/5/

Hypothesis: You're missing a /tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/3/5/ folder in your webroot.

Thanks!

-Dan

Dan,
Thank you so much for the great feedback. So it looks like the issue is with the software not creating the directories required to create the signature graphic. This will have to be passed onto one of the devs or server admins to look at. I will update you guys when its fixed.
Thanks again,
Bob

Cheers Bob, you're one dedicated admin! On the case!

Just one more quick question - do you know what the numbers that the folders are named represent?
(i.e., /tools/wp-content/plugins/timeline/signatures/3/5/2/7/4/)

If they represent values that she puts in when creating her sig, like a representation of the expected approval date, she could play around with different values to see if any work.

Cheers,

_Dan
