which way's faster, switching to state sponsored or keep waiting

I handed my application for 885 9th of April, not on the CSL list.
I am just wondering, which way would be faster, to switch to state sponsored or keep waiting
what obligations do I have if I apply state sponsorship, do it affect citizenship application??
thx heaps!!

You may find the 885 will not be considered for a few years depending on Global/Australian economics and caps on immigration - read our sticky thread #4 for further info, sticky threads being at top of page.

There's a priority system in place and if you can get state nomination and then advise immi, they may look at an 885 as an 886 - as on other thread you started, ring them to confirm that.

That way, you'll at least be in the top three priority classifications.

For eligibility and obligations re staying in a particular state, have a read of details on immi site.
