Student visa subclass 500

Hello guys I have 2 questions regarding student visa
1)what is estimated time to travel once student visa Is granted?is there any specific time duration to enter australia
2)we are currently living in saudiarabia since 2014 my wife is the main applicant do we need to provide police clearance certificates from both country of residence and country of passport since I belong to pakistan and is this sufficient to provide only 1 police clearance certificate to provide or every city I lived in past 10 years?
