Smile Partner Visa 820 - A Indonesian Case Officer assigned ??

Hi all,

I applied Partner visa 820 from Sydney and I have received an email from the immigration office request for more information to be uploaded to immaccount. However, in the document they attached, the contact email address they provided is: [email protected]

And it shows at the bottom of the document is Australian Embassy, Jakarta from Indonesia.

I am Chinese and I applied in Sydney, not sure why Indonesia embassy is processing my case. Any one had same situation??

Thanks

The processing of many visas is spread around the world, so your case is not unusual. The Department is trying to reduce processing times, and the fact that the Department is processing your application offshore is probably a good thing.

Send a message via Skype™ to CCMS
It’s all part of the global processing system. Your application could end up anywhere nowadays.
