Question Urgent:student visa cancelled

hi all,
i am a single mum who has been on a student visa which has since been cancelled. i am the sole supporter of my little family (me and my son). at first i got a notification for intention to cancel my visa. i got myself a competent agent who i paid to file a response to the notice. clearly the reply didnt go through as my visa still got cancelled. now my agent needs more money to make the review application which i cannot afford as i still have to pay for the review itself and so i am having to take all the necessary steps from here by my self. i have an idea of the steps i need to take i.e submit the appeal, apply for a BVE, and then apply for a review of the work rights , but i would really appreciate it if i could get some tips and things to look out for and remember while following through with this process including time lines. i really want to be as informed as i can be as what landed me in the mess i am currently in was that i was misinformed on certain matters......please help:

Tips and tricks - get a skilled MARA registered agent to do a
Full assessment of your situation and provide you with a list of possible routes you could take starting from best to worst.

Then make an informed decision based on the options available to you and their expected coatings and outcomes.

Finally get the agent to do an action plan and assist with the relevant pathway.

Unfortunately visas and immigration are a costly thing, however once you start going down the unlawful and visa cancellation routes generic forum advice from most of us won't suffice, you need proffesional advice tailored to your current situation based on an accurate review.

Hi breekigo,

What is your status now? I had the same with my BVE, they only gave it for less than a week coz the appeal was not in their system. How long did it take for you to get the AAT Appeal acknowledgement letter?

I'm really worried about what happens if the acknowledgement isn't there when I have to report to DIBP next. Also how long does it take to get BVE with work rights?

It would really help if you can update your thread with your timeline.

Thanks

Update: I've got my AAT Appeal Acknowledgement, took 4 working days.

Does anyone know how long working rights on BVE application takes? Thanks
