PMV interview done. What now?

Hi all,

Haven’t seen any up to date information on this so though I would start a new thread.

My query relates to the PMV 300 interview.

My Iranian fiancé had her interview in Tehran two weeks ago (application lodged July 17)

I cannot find much information regarding what this means in terms of when the visa will likely be granted.

Has anyone got any stories to share?

I would have thought ( and hope) that this means a decision is close.

You wait.

How long?

How long is a price of string.

Seriously it could be close or it could be far it depends what else the department needs to check off in order to be satisfied with the application. If that interview was the final price of the puzzle then it could be imminent. If they are still completing security checks it could be months.

Thanks.

I get that. I suppose I was enquiring whether there were people who have done interviews and how long it took, post interview, to receive a decision.

Could be indicative; may not be as you say.

Every case is different.

When my husband applied for a PMV it was at an embassy that interviews almost everyone. It was about 5 months after the interview that the visa was granted.
