Preparing for 189 visa but my husband is over 50 (but i wont use any points for him)

Hi!

My name is Malu, 35 years old and preparing for my Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) application. I am the main applicant and will use my credentials in the point system alone. I will just include my 6-year-old son and my husband 54-year-old in the application. My husband still works as a senior manager in the Philippines. I am wondering if his age will have an impact on the application even though I will not use or get any points on him. Thanks!

No.

If you are not clear about criteria such as that, it might pay you to consult a registered migration agent for a preliminary assessment.
