Clarification on Professional Year

Hi everyone,
i am consufed about something.
Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) (Points-tested) stream
the link above suggests the professional year providers, but there are many private educational institutions that are offering professional year, too.
are those private educational institutions legit? can we claim for 5 points if we complete a professional year provided by them?
it is just confusing to me. or the thing is that the official website suggests only professional bodies as the most reliable sources? is that what needs to made out?

thanks in advance.

I wouldn't rely on the claims of a private educational institution. Only the ones listed on the DoHA website are included: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2012L01290

wrussell and baldur like this.

Perhaps they offer a "professional year" under their own definition but that doesn't mean it would be eligible for claiming points towards a visa.
