Post Need Help!!! Plz come in

Hello there,

I lodged my gsm visa (885) in May this year with my wife included in my application. We have been married for 7 months up to this point but known each other since 2000. In my application , I have included the documents that support our relationship for the past 9 years as many as possible and also supplied some specific docs on request by my co(Sumi).

On 18/09/2009, my co sent me an email saying he is going to make a decision early this week, but instead until Weds(23/09/2009) this week, I received another email from Brisbane office asked the phone numbers of my wife and I and the best time on Monday to contact. Notablely, this email is not sent by sumi(co) but the General Skilled Migration Brisbane.

Could anyone who has experienced this suggest me what this could mean to my application? Are they going to conduct a phone interview with me and my wife or they are going to drop at my place for a chat? If interview is necessary, what sort of questions are involved? And by the way, why my co Sumi would eat his own words, still cant understand.

Any response would be appreciated.

Thank you

No idea what the latest email purpose is but requesting a phone number does not necessarily mean dropping by for a chat.

The immigration department has been progressively tightening visa regulations in accordance with the GFC and what that may mean for employment in Australia and COs will be required to abide by new regulations, the latest being :

Unless you have an occupation on the CSL, forget a GSM skilled visa application
Until 2013
