I think you would be wise to seek some expert help. The department grants partner visas to those who are in a genuine married or de facto relationships. Much of what you say says yes, you are in a genuine and caring relationship. However, it may need to be explained in detail to the Department.

Thank you for the prompt response, yes we have stated in the statutory declarations and in the application forms about our circumstances, and I also have submitted numerous evidence in our application and was filling an inquiry form last week restating our circumstances.
