How to show strong incentive to leave Australia (600 Visitor Visa)

Hi guys,

I am helping a Colombian friend who currently lives in the USA as an Au Pair to obtain a 600 Visitor Visa. She is in the US since July 31st 2017. She is 21yo.

Well - we have already lodged (May 31) it and simply waiting for an answer.

So she is on a working Visa there and also enrolled at school.

We have attached her bank statement, her school enrolment, all her travel evidence (stamps on her passport, she also also been in Mexico beside US), my letter of invitation, my proof of employment, my bank statement, her colombian ID, and a letter from her agency stating she has a job there, a valid US Visa, enrolled at school and so forth.

I am on a 457 and recently applied for the 186. Been in Australia for almost 6 years and I can easily host her and take care of her financially for the duration of her stay. Wrote that in the letter and attached evidence.

We applied for the 3 months Visa and put 3 weeks when we had to pick arrival and departure dates on the application. 3 weeks this August.

Now - her US Visa expires July 31st 2018 and she does not know whether she will extend it or go back to Colombia. We are waiting for an answer from the immi here to make a decision.

My RMA told me that she must demonstrate she has strong incentive or reasons to leave Australia after her trip.

Now I am a bit worried the immi here might refuse the Visa because her US Visa expires July 31st 2018. And she will travel here after that.

We do not know what to do or put to show these reasons my RMA told me. Do you guys think is it fine like this or shall we attach something else? But we do not know what.

I was thinking a Statutory declarations form, but not sure.

Please guys advises would be very appreciated it.

Ask your RMA for a current copy of the relevant parts of Visitor Visa PAM 3, that will give you an idea of things to look for as evidence both in the USA and Cambodia.

Here is bits of an old one.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I cannot ask anything to my lawyer as he would charge me for it. He gave me general guidelines as I am an existing client for my 186, but that was it.

I was hoping to receive more specific answers. I have obtained her University Certificate from Colombia showing she needs to complete her studies in Colombia.

She is Colombian by the way not Cambodian.

What do you think?

Also - what do you guys think if we also attach a Statutory Declaration Form where she swear to leave Australia before her Visa expires?
