Partner Visa Updates

Hi everyone

I thought it would be useful to share some recent changes to partner visa procedures for those who are planning to lodge or have lodged a partner visa application:

- you can now attach 100 documents in Immiaccount (instead of 60)
- automated correspondence will be sent to certain partner visa applicants to assure them that their application is still being processed
- an automated email will be sent when it is time to submit information for the second stage of the partner visa application
- the visa application charge has increased to $7,160

Kind regards

Is the fee from PMV to Partner visa remaining the same or has it increased too?

It wont surprise me if the sponsors slots disappear when the changes to sponsorship happen (pre approval).

It sounds like the Department is notifying applicants about the second stage again.

It's not like system generated emails are expensive!

They probably realised the delays it was causing due to a large number of applicants not updating info.
