I only asked for 3months in my application, as I have been denied twice due to no travel experience. that is why I only received 3months single entry.

Now that I have been granted 3months single entry.

-Do you think it is okay I ask for 12-month multiple entries visa next time?
For now, my goal is to build a good reputation and single entry has already made my boyfriend's life easier not having to take time off work and being able to see each other for 2motnhs is a lot better than his 2-week trips.
What passport do you hold?

No I don't think a 12 month multiple entry would be a good idea (for most). That is the stay period.

It seems there may be confusion between visa names.

EVisa? = Visitor e600 Visa Online Applications
If you are outside Australia, you must hold a passport from an eligible country to apply online for a Visitor visa (subclass 600).

https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/about...53entry-system

Fact Sheet - Australia's entry system for visitors
  • Electronic Travel Authority (ETA system) (subclass 601)
  • eVisitor (subclass 651).
  • Tourist e600 visa (subclass 600)

Yep confusion.

Use to Visitor Visa, eVisitor (eVisa) or ETA.

The OP has a single entry Visitor Visa.

So what are the differences between those three visas (apart from cost)?

The bottom one is not granted like the top two.

The top 2 are basically the same - multiple entry, valid for 1 year and 3 months stay period.

The bottom one can be single or multiple entry and can have a stay period for up to 1 year. (you don't always get what you apply for!)
