ACS Experience Approval Criteria.

Hello,
I am from Pakistan. I am a Software Engineer(.net Professional). Have Completed 16 Years of education with 4 years Bechelors of Computer and IT. I also have more then 3+ years of practical experience as a software engineer in an organization. I have acquired this experience during my whole 4 years graduation period and I used to work in organization along with my graduation studies like in morning I went to university and from afternoon to onwards(evening shift) I was doing my job.

My question is will ACS(Australian Computer Society) approves my experience for my skill assessment provided that it is more then 40 hours/ week as per their requirements?

Also may I know who will assess the experience requirement for getting MODL points? Is it ACS or some one else.

My skill list is in MODL as well as in Critical List.

Please give me update.

Thanks..

The ACS website has a FAQ section re accreditation of qualifications and cannot remember 100% but think one of the questions referred to is much like yours and that indicate that experience taken into account is only post graduation.

If you have a look there yourself, I think your queries will likely be answered.

Qualifications assessment is a prerequisite for a successful GSM visa application but the visa application including any MODL points is done by immigration and details of points and evidence required are in the eligibility section of any visa determined by points..

You should have a look at the immi processing priorities, a link at one of our sticky threads and it is also on the immi site and you may also want to consider a state nomination.
